SUMMARY:ALBATROSS | kostenlose Filmvorführung
DESCRIPTION:On one of the remotest islands on Earth\, thousands of albatros
s chicks lie dead on the ground - their bodies are filled with plastic.\n\
nReturning to the island over several years\, Chris Jordan and his film cr
ew witnessed the cycles of birth\, life and death of these magnificent cre
atures as a multi-layered metaphor for our times. ALBATROSS walks us throu
gh the horror and grief of this environmental tragedy\, but ultimately bri
ngs us to a deeply felt experience of beauty and love for life on Earth.\n
\nStepping outside of traditional documentary film style\, ALBATROSS is a
powerful visual journey that brings viewers together into a shared experie
nce of reverence and renewal.\n\nKesselschmiede Kassel\, Fulle Welle &amp\
; Surfrider Foundation Berlin are happy to host you and the film for an am
azing &amp\; unique night! We'll open the event with little project talks
about our blue projects after which ALBATROSS will be presented with some
welcoming and closing words by Surfrider's Luca\, who's traveled with the
film all across Germany. Come with us on this impressive journey into the
heart of the Pacific!\n\nALBATROSS comes in full length (97 min) and in En
glish language. It is an adult film with strong emotional content\, so we
recommend it for viewers age 12 and above.\n\nSkatehalle Kesselschmiede
